A friendship has formed! Gabrielle Union and Tia Mowry’s daughters have gotten together for an adorable playdate. 

On Sunday (Feb. 28), Kaavia and Cairo, equally 2 many years of age, met for laughs. Union and Mowry posted video clips of the pair getting a blast on their respective Instagram accounts. 

“The playdate we’ve all been waiting around for,” Union captioned her Instagram publish. “When @kaaviajames achieved Cairo!!! Bringing the ladies jointly was magic and pure sweetness and comedy!”

Union showed Kaavia taking Cairo on a cruise in a toddler-sized electric vehicle. Mowry also posted a video clip on IG demonstrating the pair hugging each individual other as their moms watched and delighted.

An incident concerning a trainer and university student at an Oklahoma university is prompting an investigation into promises of verbal harassment and racism.

In accordance to CBS 12, a 7th grader in Edmond, Oklahoma walked into his science course wearing a t-shirt with an outline of Africa and the text “Black King” exhibited on the front. According to the boy’s mom, this prompted the trainer to stop class and convey to the boy in entrance of his classmates “your shirt is racist.”

The instructor then allegedly said if she wore a shirt with the words and phrases “White Queen” on it there would be an uproar. She also reportedly advised the boy that there needs to be a “White History Month,” prompting the rest of the predominately white class to concur and verbally attack him.

“He will NOT put his blackness on layaway to be instructed when and how he really should use it,” his mother explained to the news station.

Edmond General public Educational institutions has considering the fact that issued a statement professing they are mindful of the incident and have been in speak to with the mom. If it is established that the university student was the focus on of bullying, racism and/or discrimination, swift action will be taken, as required by District plan.

“In addition to this investigation the administration is continuing to evaluate the want for more education and expert advancement in this important location,” the District included in the assertion.
